We had a relaxed start at the cabin having showers and breakfast before loading up the car with our bags. Eli was taking shortcut straight to the trailhead at Sonora Pass but Alica was taking me, Marcus, Drill Bit and Mario to KMN first to resupply. This ment we didn't get back on trail until after 11am. Alicia has decided she would hike up to Senora Pass with us before heading back. The altitude and snow made it a challenging start for Marcus who has to get used to both quickly, but we took it slow, had some breathers and then enjoyed lunch up there top with Alicia, Drill Bit and Mario before going out separate ways. The descent was snowy and slushy, Marcus took my crampons which helped with the slipping a bit but it was still tiring work. We walked until we got hungry for dinner and set up on a dry patch in the trees, unfortunately it was down in a valley so shaded from the evening sun so we had to get into the tent straight after dinner for warmth.
