I woke excited as today Marcus would arrive. Scott and Alice and persuade me to stay another night here with Marcus instead of going back to KMN. Shortcut also decided to stay another night, as did Mario and Drill Bit, the hikers who has arrived late yesterday evening. Marcus was getting dropped off by Jay Go at Sonora Pass at 12:30 ish and was then going to hitch down to Pinecrest. After breakfast me, shortcut, Eli and Sean headed to the lake. Me and shortcut took out the paddleboard (I paddled and shortcut sunbathed on the front) and the boots to the Kayaks - it was bliss, felt like a real holiday on this beautiful lake surrounded by pine forests and mountains. We then all headed to the shops to get some bits for dinner before going back to the cabin to chill. Marcus showed up early afternoon and after we ate some lunch we went off for a walk down to the lake. We took the kayaks out and paddled to the other side of the lake where we got off for a little explore and quiet moment to ourselves. By the time we paddled back and headed up to the cabin it was dinner time, more delicious salads and grilled veggies and sausages. This evening we all just stayed up chatting until tiredness hit and we headed to bed
