No pass today but lots of river crossings, mostly over fallen trees so we had to get good at balancing. We had another large section of dirt trail which was so nice to walk in and take breaks on dry ground, or breakfast spot half way up a mountain had an insane view. Coming down the other side of that seemily chill mountain however was sketchy as hell, so so steep, covered in slushy snow and trees and rocks everywhere. Yeehaw who had walked off ahead shortly before (Yewehaw and Beer Slide were in a bit of a mood today) called out as he had slid, fell without his ice axe and caught air before landing in rocks, luckily he got away with just cuts and bruises as it could have been much worse. Then Beer Slide slipped and shot soo fast down into a tree well, luckily he came out with just a grazed arm. we We all slipped and fell a few times but were able to stop ourselves from sliding with our ice ace, by the time we got down we were drained, probably the scariest bit of the pct so far. We had another couple of river crossings, one waist deep but not fast flowing which we crossed in our pants and the next luckily with a big log to cross on. O our campsite was stunning, snow free and beautiful views and we could set out all our wet things
