First town day. I woke pretty early after a night of being too hot for once instead of cold. Evan passed as we were packing up camp and waited with us to leave, she had camped a few miles back. Conor and Sassy were meeting some friends today and being picked up to be taken into Julian so me, Andrew and Christina were planning on hitching and Evan came with us. It's was just a couple of miles to the intersection with the road that went into Julian so we were there by about half 8. Luckily it didn't take us long to get a hitch, a lovely woman who was a retired teacher from the local school and lived on a local ranch picked the 4 of us up and drove us to Julian. We went straight for Mom's Pie when we arrived, unfortunately they didn't have a vegan apple pie but affixed I could get one across the road and bring it in and they even offered to pay for it as they gave free pie to PCT hikers. Once full on pie (Conor and sassy had caught us up by then) we headed to the renouned friendly gear store to fix all our , turned out my trail runners were 2 sizes small so I swapped out to some altras with wider toe boxes and bought some sun gloves for my burnt , KT tape, spf50 suncream, Ibuprofen and blister tape, hope sorted for the nexy fre hundred miles. We wanted to find aroom somewhere so we could shower and wash clothes but everywhere was booked so we headed to an army veteran bar called the legion that we heard let PCT hikers camp on there porch for free. They were super friendly and gave us a tub to do our washing in and let us use their facilities. After some washjng and chilling we headed for lunch in town, I then caught up with Marcus on FaceTime before meeting the others at the brewery were we stayed for the rest of the night.
