It has got pretty chilly last night camping on snow but not unbearable. It was another 2:10am alarm to get going by 3. We had a climb up first off for almost 7 miles then pretty much the rest was descent. The climb wasn't too bad as it wasn't very steep and the snow was nice and crisp, we were all starting to get a bit more used to the elevation too. We arrived at an amazing view point just in time for sunrise, it was so beautiful, lighting up the snow covered mountains in a pink light. Today was a day where we were constantly in awe of the place and amazed we were there experiencing it. The descent was pretty gradual meaning we didn't get to do many glissades, just a couple of short and slightly sketchy ones close to tree wells. We made it to the camp we had planned for night 3 and set up on the snow again amongst the trees. We sat out until about 4pm when we retreated to our tents for bed.
