Today was better than yesterday, pack still insanely heavy though and digging into back. We had to say goodbye to Ghost 3 miles in which was sad. Snowy ascent and then descent descent with crampons and boots on, we were moving slow in the icy snow. As we descended we walked through large patches of snow free trail and we swapped out to trail runners. We had to stick our crampons on again for the last ascent though when the snow patches started getting big. Last mile was pretty difficult in the soft snow but we camped snow free with amazing views.
