I was pretty tired waling up in the morning after a fairly late night and the trains interrupting our sleep again. We had arranged for the trail Angel, Oblivious, to give us a ride back to the trail head at 7 am picking us up outside the bakery which was about a 10 min walk away so e were up pretty early packing up. My bag was the heaviest it has been so far and it had been heavy coming out of Agua Dulce. We had a 17 mile water carry with a big ascent so I loaded up on 3 lites off water and tried too drink loads in the morning too.  I definitely moved slower going up the advent with the heavy pack and the heat, and trying not to down all my water straight away. I got through it by taking regular short breaks in the shade until I reached the water source around 2pm where I had a late lunch and long break. Tristan (Buddy Arrest) and Beer Slide we're already there and wee decided we would hike on a further 4 miles to camp. The next stretch was a 20 mile carry so i cold soaked my dinner before we left and filled up 4 litres, 1 more foot today and 3 foot the 16 miles tomorrow, hopefully it's enough. Now the bag was REALLY heavy. I saw a big rattlesnake on the path on the last section, i tried to scare it away by banging my poles but it didn't budge so I ended up telling it to go away and my voice eventually got it moving. W/e has a nice Campari tucked away in some pines that fit me, Beer Slide and Buddy Arrest. Ghost showed up around 7 when w/e were I'm our tents and he said Shortcut was also on her way but Yeehaw was camping back At the water source.
