Lots of trains pass through Tehachapi in the night so we were woken many times by the obnoxiously loud American train horns. And then with the sun rising over is cowboy camping there was no chance of greeting any also past 7am. Then the research began for all the gear we needed to order for the Sierra, that took up most of the day to be honest. Once we had ordered most of our things we cycled to the local brewery for a pint. The guys wanted to get an all you can eat Chinese buffet and then go bowling, Sarah the host trail Angel has told me they had some good vegan food at the bowling alley so I said I w Old come to the buffet but wouldn't eat as there probably won't be much vegan but the guy serving us felt bad for me and ended up giving me some free steamed veg and rice. We had cycled a fair while to the brewery and then an extra 15 mins to the buffet so when we started cycling even further out to the bowling we quickly realised it was really far and with the sun setting soon and none of the bikes having lights it probably wouldn't be sensible to go so we turned back and played cards back at Sarah's before bed
