We packed up and left camp together around 7am, but as I was the only one at the moment who didn't have some kind of foot pain I went on ahead a bit. I called mum for a catch up during the descent and arranged to give Marcus a call once he had finished work as the signal was good and we had mostly descent today. The views were stunning today and the miles came easy in the morning. Acton KOA campsite was 8 miles away and we stopped there in the morning so Yeehaw, Beer Slide and Shortcut could pick up their resupply boxes (spoiler - shortcut forgot to pick hers up). We enjoyed an ice cream from the shop but wanted to push on another 10 miles into Agua Dulce so left around 10:40. We met another hike Ghost at Acton a Californian Sierra adventure guide who criss crossed us throughout the day. I tried calling Marcus on the next descents but it was really windy so we decided to FaceTime time instead as Beer Side, Shortcut and Yeehaw wanted to Nero out of the Oasis tomorrow to rest their injuries. Just before arriving into Agua Dulce we went through Vasquez Rocks, some pretty cool rock formations that felt a bit like Mars. Once I'm Agua Dulce we camped at the Oasis run by farmer John. We arrived about 3, pitches our tents, I got my reply box and this was the moment Shortcut realised she had sent hers to KOA and not here, luckily Farmers John said he would sort her a lift to action tomorrow to pick it up. The washing machine and showers were busy so we decided to go straight to the Mexican restaurant and Ghost joined us. We bumped into Tristan there who took our numbers so he could contact us on his garmin as he was keen to hike with us sometime. We also seemed to convince Ghost that he should hike the Sierras too. After dinner and margaritas (beer for me) we got a tinny for the road and went back to the oasis to play cards, we eventually turned in for the night shortly after 8pm (hiked midnight)
