First of our unplanned Zeros grooved by the storm. We enjoyed a slow start to the day in our borrowed PJs waiting for our laundry to be done, we watched films under duvets until 11am when we really felt the need to get outside, our laundry still hadnt been done so we had to venture to the shops in the PJs and raincoats, any thing goes as a hiker! We went to Mountain Hardwear where I picked up my resupply and we all picked up a few bits. They gave us a free PCT pin for our bags. Our Airbnb host has told us that the gas station gives hikers free biscuits and gravy or hot dogs and it turns out they even had a vegan hot dog, we ate our food in the sun out side the gas station in borrowed PJs like life was not surreal right now! We wanted to cook in for dinner and had a BBQ on our deck so stocked on veggies, salad and the others got some sausages and i found some tofu ones. We saw Tito and he and Jim planned to join for dinner. Back at the house i called Marcus for a catch up and then we started to prep for the BBQ, it was super lovely coming together and eating outside even though it was very chilly, we quickly moved in side after finishing. After Jim and Tito left we watched Wedding Crashers and ate popcorn
