We just had 1 mile off trail until the turn off for cougar crest trail that leads down to Big Bear. We set off just after 7 not wanting to leave too early as we knew it would be harder to get a ride into town. There were some small patches to snow and nice views of the lake. Spirits were high as we discussed the food and beer that we would soon be able to consume. We got a lift into town from a trail Angel and they dropped us straight to grizzly manor cafe where we had been recommended to go for breakfast. They did PCT specials with 10% discount and even had a vegan option, soo much food arrived at the table and I couldn't believe that we finished it all, by far the biggest breakfast I had ever eaten. People kept coming over to our table to say hello as we were hikers, everyone was soo friendly. After breakfast and grabbing some greens we walked down to the centre to the juice bar to get a green smoothie. There were bumped into Floris (dutch guy, 24) and caught up over a smoothie. The group then went to the brewery for a beer whilst i FaceTimed Marcus. We were then told we could check in to the air bnb so we headed straight there dreaming of clean clothes and showers. Me, Andrew, Tito and Elanor arrived first soo got our laundry on and hopped in the showers. Rimke, Loeke, Floris, Devin and Laura showed up shortly after and we all chilled for a while. by 3:45 We were hungry again so my, Andrew and Eleanor headed out shortly followed by Tito and Floris. We first went for a beer at the brewery and then for dinner at the Himalayan,a Nepalese restaurant, it was delicious and I was stuffed after but then we walked past the Ben and Jerrys shop and keep they have a green scoop to hikers soo found space for some ice cream. We grabbed some beers and headed back to the house for the rest of the evening
