I ate breakfast with Marcela before her ride picked her up at 10am and I then topped up my resupply with some snacks from the shop before packing up and going to say goodbye to Buddy and Shortcut (who has decided to sack off Oregon and hike north from here). Me and Yeehaw got a ride back to trail with Ghost and Munchies. We set off shortly after 11, first stop was Santiam Pass to drop off Yeehaw where we had more goodbyes. Then into Bend to get Munchies some new Topos, it was gone 4 at this point so we decided to get food and went to an amazing Thai restaurant, maybe my favourite meal on trail so far. They dropped me off at the trailhead by shelter cove at 6pm and I hiked a few miles up to camp passing Bobcat and Shortcut on the way. The smoke was pretty bad and I could feel it in my throat but I was so tired I fell asleep fast.
