After a pretty good sleep as it wasnt a cold night and the promise of a town day and zero ahead i woke feeling pretty good, packed up fairly quickly and hit the trail and 6:30. There was a fair bit of steep incline and my right shin wasnt 100% but I felt pretty good anyway. I was the first to leave camp but Abbey soon took over me but wasnt too far ahead. Once i got to the powerlines once uou split off the path to get to paradise valley cafe I knew I had less than a mile to go and called home to catch up with mum and Torr. I arrived at the cafe minutes after Abbey and we grabbed a table for the group. We all enjoyed a well deserved breakfast beer with our food (not great vegan options but they made we hash browns and wilted spinach). Me, Eleanor and Andrew caught a hitch together into town from the original Idyllwild trail Angel, she was super lovely and gave us a tour of the town. Check in into our cabin want until 1 so we hada explore of the town and grabbed coffee. Tito meet us shortly after. Once we got the cabin we took turns having a lengthy shower scrubbing of the days dirt, it felt so good. We then got changed into our rain gear and took all our clothes down to the laundrette to wash. We meet back up with Sophie, Sam and Abbey and arranged to go to an Italian for dinner as they had kindly researched places with good vegan options for me. Devon, Tristan, Jim, Rimke and Loeck and Chris were also in town and we kept crossing paths with people we knew. We enjoyed a very tasty dinner at Ferro, any food not from a packet would have probably tasted good though and then bought some beers and headed back to our cabin with Sophie, Sam, Any w, Chris, Rimke and Loeck for a few drinks. Me, Andrew, Eleanor and Tito stayed up a bit later before hitting the hay at 10:30
