We planned on having a relaxing low key day today as our chores were already done. It was Marcus's Dad's birthday today but he seemed in good spirits. We made pancakes for breakfast with berries, yoghurt and maple syrup - what I had been craving for weeks. Then the day just seemed to go by, we chilled outside in the hammock, did the crossword and lazed about in bed whilst we waited for our washing to be done. We then caught a ride into town to go for dinner and a drink at the Brewery, it was a nice evening and the beer and food were good. We went for a quick stroll down the highstreet before catching a ride back, Truckee was definitely an upmarket ski town, all quite fancy.
