We slept well after a night in beds. We only had 4 miles to go today to get to Truckee so we weren't really in a rush in the morning. We went for breakfast at the ranch with Shortcut and then packed up and headed out with her. It was hot and we had a climb but the time passed quickly as we all chatted. We said goodbye to shortcut when we hit the road as she was continuing on to Sierra City for her next resupply. We lucked out on hitching and the first car (well van) to leave the car park offered us a ride right to Grocery Outlet - ideal! We did our resupply there and in Safeway across the road and bought food to cook in the AirBnB too. Marcus needed to return his exospikes so I sat with our bags and shopping in a coffee shop whilst he went to UPS. After a nice coffee and some vegan pastries Marvis returned and we headed to the AirBnB. It was a super nice house and our room was clean, nice and had a good en-suite. We played some pool and drank some beer before cooking dinner and then watching a film in bed
