Day 10
Miles Hiked: 0
Mile 138.3 to 151.8
I forgot to make an entry for this day, but I basically put my headphones in and listened to A Psalm for the Wild-Built while I hauled [redacted] down to the Paradise Valley Cafe trailhead to eat a giant burger. I stretched my water a bit to avoid having to drink water from a cistern with dead things in it (picked up some aquamira for similar situations in the future) and was very thankful to reach trail angel Mary's hiker oasis. She had a small water tank, shaded picnic tables, and a tiny library with poems and cutouts of Walt Whitman, John Muir, and Henry David Thoreau. She's having to shut it down after this year due to local troublemakers, so it was special to see it. I picked up some poems and a postcard.
